Local First Adds New Board Members

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, – Grand Rapids-based Local First, the largest per capita local business support organization in the country, has added three new members to its board of directors. New members, all of whom will serve a two-year term, include: 

Doris Drain

Doris Drain, vice president of commercial lending for United Bank of Michigan. Doris is a recent recipient of the U.S. Small Business Administration's Michigan District Office’s “Women in Business Champion of the Year.”

Luisa Schumacher

Luisa Schumacher, corporate community advocate for Metro Health Hospital. Luisa was recently appointed by Governor to the Commission on Spanish Speaking Affairs.

Nic Stover

Nic Stover, president and chief retail strategist for 11 Plates, a business growth consultancy. Nic is a 23-year veteran of retail merchandising, marketing and branding.
