The 10th Annual BALLE Business Conference will take place May 15-18 in Grand Rapids, Michigan and will be attended by over 500 entrepreneurs, economic developers, business network leaders, sustainability experts, and local government and community leaders.  Themed “Real Prosperity Starts Here,” this conference is the largest annual gathering of professionals working to create sustainable local economies. This is your opportunity to hear national thought leaders from around the country right here in West Michigan. The conference will include a wide variety of events including numerous daily keynote speeches, expert panel discussions, workshops, facility tours, networking events, receptions, and much more. How to Use Your Local First Member Discount

Click the registration link above and follow these steps:

  • After you enter your Personal Information, under the header Attendance Type, you will see a question asking, "How are you attending this event?" Please select BALLE Member as your answer.
  • On the next page you will see your Conference Registration Item selections.  Please select Full Conference Registration.  You will see the full conference price listed with this item -- an automatic discount will apply to this registration item at the END of the registration process.
  • On the next page, you will be able to select any pre or post conference events you may wish to attend, make a scholarship contribution or off-set your travel carbon emissions.  Each of these items are additional costs and not included in the price of conference admission.
  • After the first person in your group is registered as a BALLE Member for the full conference, click on the ADD PERSON button on the Registration Summary page and repeat the registration process for each member of your group. Once all members of the group have been entered, click on Next to proceed to the payment page.
  • You will see that each member’s Full Conference Registration Fee is discounted $110. Please enter the credit card information to pay for all of the members and click on "Finish" to make sure your registrations are processed.
